Andhra Pradesh’s SDG Agent & Peace Ambassador Sheeba Gollapalli who lives in Rajamendravaram and works for a NGO is been selected and invited as Delegate to the 1st National Winter Program on International Affairs and Foreign Policy 2024 which is to be held on February 9th 2024 at India International Centre, New Delhi Organised by the Confederation of Young Leaders and the Indian Institute of Governance and Leadership. Sheeba is past almuni of Indian Institute of Governance and Leadership.

Confederation of Young Leaders has successfully led Track II Diplomatic dialogues between foreign missions and young people in India and is distinguished to be the only youth organization working in this sphere at this scale. From a pool of 350+ applications from which.they have selected 50 top applicants for this session in which Sheeba Gollapalli got this great opportunity to represent Andhra Pradesh. This program is focused on international relations, public diplomacy, foreign policy, international organizations, public policy, leadership, governance and public administration.

The Program has been conceptualized for aspiring professionals in the field of International Development, Public Policy, Diplomacy, Human Rights and allied fields. It provides a perfect platform for incubation of future public leaders.

50 Changemakers from all across the country would converge at the National Capital, New Delhi for the two day immersive and intensive experience.

The program flow shall be piloted by various Ambassadors, Diplomats, pioneers in the field of International Relations and Diplomacy, Senior Bureaucrats, Think Tanks, academicians, as well as international business professionals.

CYL have also joined hands with the National Institute of Diplomacy (NID) established in the year 1985 and inaugurated by the then Union Minister for External Affairs Shri Bali Ram Bhagat on 14 November 1985.

The Program has been conceptualized and designed under the expert guidance of the stellar Advisory and Governing Council of CYL, IIGL and NID which includes Former Governors, UN Advisors, Vice Chancellors, decorated Bureaucrats to deliver one of the best comprehensive learning experiences.

Confederation of Young Leaders of India continues to be one of the foremost institutions for youth organizations and young leaders in India working at the grass-root level & with strong national and international linkages. Collectively programs at the Confederation engaged more than 50,000 youth who spearheaded shaping it as a fountainhead of knowledge for youth citizenry. The Confederation of Young Leaders “youth dialogue series” has drawn wide attention from India’s political and academic circles, including from the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modi.

Taking forward the illustrious legacy of the former Prime Minister of India, Bharat Ratna, Shri. Lal Bahadur Shastri, the Confederation was jointly established under the guidance and leadership of the former Prime Minister’s family and is one of the leading institutions working in the sphere of Youth Development, Public Affairs, Governance, Public Policy, Public Diplomacy, and International Relations.

The Event is privileged to have Padma Vibhushan awardee Dr. Sonal Mansingh, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and India’s Legendary Cultural Icon & Shri Suresh Prabhu, former Union Cabinet Minister as the Patron.

Extending its agenda beyond engagements, the confederation assists youth institutions to identify need for mutual and practical cooperation among the youth organizations, exchange of information, export and import of educational know-how, control on replication of efforts and wastage in youth-oriented education, besides strengthening the financial health of the existing youth organization for the ideal development of New India. Over the years, from Argentina to the United States of America; the Confederation has been at the forefront in promoting India’s interest and its soft power potential amongst the world citizenry, particularly, the youth community.

Confederation of Young Leaders has been a pioneer in organizing Track II Diplomatic Dialogues for which it has received appreciation from eminent personalities like the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Hon’ble Vice President of India, Union External Affairs Minister, Finance Minister and 24 Chief Ministers and Governors across India. With endorsements and acknowledgements from the most influential public leaders, CYL is committed to build the strong cadre of future public leaders.
