It all dates back to the Covid Lockdown of 2020 when the world stopped suddenly and there was a lot of time to think at the hand of the founder to search for more opportunities filled with growth prospects that were out of the reach of every Indian, AngelLife was already an established named in healthcare & IVF. What struck him was how well the hair transplant, skincare, and wellness industry was doing worldwide, especially in countries like Turkiye where Hair Transplant is a huge industry and reachable to the common man, or Korea where the skin and beauty sector was making progress faster than in what we could wonder but India was still not living up to its potential even though we are the one of the biggest markets in the world, an 80 billion dollar market.
That’s sort of when he realized he wanted to do something about it and was supported in his decision by a leading cardiologist and the heart of team AngelLife Dr. Pankaj Gupta. His first step was to start a hair transplant center where the FUE (Follicular Unit Transplant) was not only affordable but also gave excellent results to its patients for which he took the guidance and support of renowned specialist Dr. Rav Sharan Singh who has been one of the pioneers and a blessing for the people of Punjab, performing hundreds of successful FUE procedures till date.
Furthering the concept in 2022 AngelLife incorporated the aim of promoting skincare in India which is still an underappreciated concept by the masses in India and so the company entered the cosmetology and wellness sector.
AngelLife gained quick success. The next center emerged within a year and a half and the team grew, Dr. Deepak Agarwal, a celebrated dermatologist joined in to take the mantle forward at Lucknow & also Dr. Mohammad Saquib, a leading maxillofacial surgeon came strengthening the core medical team with his experience. AngelLife brand gained popularity as a trusted award-winning brand at a national level. “The biggest challenge was the taboo associated with the hair transplant & creating awareness in regard to skincare and wellness in tier 2 cities; also at that moment customers had to go to different places for different services — instead, we introduced a concept where all aesthetics treatments & services came under one umbrella,” Dr. Kharabanda said in an interview.
They didn’t just help customers get their hair back or get rid of freckles on their faces but got them to believe in themselves and bounce back with confidence in this social media and selfie era. AngelLife focused on beauty from within and confidence on the outside, and started other services as well (like skincare, nutrition, etc.). When customers were satisfied with the services they were being offered, the word spread.
Their skincare and wellness services like the Hydra Facial, Hollywood Facial, Vaginal Rejuvenation, Anti Aging treatments were an instant hit within a month and Dr. Kharabanda and his team of specialists now joined by Dr. Kamlesh Tharwani, a renowned aesthetic surgeon & Dr. Kajal Tharwani, cosmetologist had to work overtime to manage the customers at the various centers. Convincing the public came easy being backed by the medical fraternity and a team of physicians, cardiologists, cosmetologists, and dermatologists.
Now AngelLife is spreading its wings within & outside India with multiple centers to open in 2023 in cities like Hyderabad, Guwahati, and Gorakhpur and also in countries like Mauritius. They also plan to expand their services and start the AngelLife Aesthetics Academy to train doctors, entrepreneurs & people who want to enter the field of cosmetology and wellness.
