Actor Karan Thakur who was recently seen in Hotstar’s latest Webseries Commando where he portrayed character of ISI Officer Faizal Khan & received lots of appreciation for his role says that he is Happy to have his Birthday on National Cinema Day this year.
As we all know National Cinema Day 2023 is set to be celebrated on Friday, 13 October. On this date, movie tickets across India will be available at Rs 99 only, thus encouraging the successful box office runs this year. It is also an initiative to motivate more people to watch movies in theatres.
Karan Adds that this co incidence is indeed a blessing for a Movie lover like me who has always loved the magic of Cinema and grown up appreciating the art of movie making and craft of Acting.
When asked about his Birthday plans Karan said , “As the Movie tickets as quite inexpensive on my Birthday I will take my family & friends out for a movie night but with the condition that expenses of overpriced popcorn & beverages has to be paid by them” he giggles.
