Seelwa receives new PHC by Narsi Kularia and Jagdish Kularia as means of strengthening the healthcare infrastructure

Bikaner, August 2024: In a revolutionary move to improve the quality of life and heighten the healthcare sector, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma inaugurated the newly built Sant Shri Dularam Kularia Primary Healthcare Center (PHC) in Moolwas village of Nokha block of Bikaner, Rajasthan, on Sunday, 28th July. The handover of this PHC by Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia marks a new beginning for the well-being of the residents of Seelwa.

As a renowned industrialist, Mr. Narsi Kularia is revered for his contributions to society. His Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project initiated the first step towards a brighter tomorrow in the healthcare system of Seelwa. Moreover, this CSR project made way to the laying of the founding bricks of the Sant Shri Dularam Kularia Primary Healthcare Center (PHC) that is ready to uplift the lives of countless people from more than a dozen villages including Charkra, Seelwa, Dawa, Tant, Kedli, and Badhda.

The inauguration ceremony saw the presence of various dignitaries such as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan-Bhajan Lal Sharma, Union Law Minister-Arjun Meghwal, Union Tourism and Culture Minister-Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, State Health Minister-Gajendra Singh Khimsar, and Food Supply Minister-Sumit Godara. In addition, these eminent personalities lauded Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia’s contributions to the empowerment of the community.

The Union Minister of Tourism and Culture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat expressed his happiness at the event and appreciated Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia in his native language, Marwari. He highlighted the efforts of Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia, and said “I thank Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia for investing their money in the right place and repaying the debt of the motherland. In addition to the healthcare center, Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia have also designed the interior of the New Parliament Building and Bharat Mandapam. Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia invest their earnings in social welfare without any hesitation.”

In addition, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan praised the contributions of Mr. Narsi Kularia by expressing “Service is considered the ultimate religion here. We imbibe the principle of ‘Nar Seva Hi Narayan Seva’. We work with the feeling that if you serve a man, it will be equal to serving the Hindu god Narayan. The government will also give full support in such pious works.” The Chief Minister’s pledge to upgrade this Primary Healthcare Center into a Community Healthcare Center came as a powerful decision that elaborates on enhancing the message established by Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia.

The PHC is established as a tribute to the late Sant Shri Dularam Kularia, father of Mr. Narsi Kularia, Managing Director of Narsi Interior Infrastructures Pvt Ltd, and grandfather of Mr. Jagdish Kularia, Director of Narsi Interior Infrastructures Pvt Ltd. This PHC is ready to provide premium healthcare services to the residents of Seelwa and other villages and is also a sustainable move in the healthcare sector. Built with 15 crores and covering 12100 square yards, the PHC consists of high-tech medical facilities, an operation theatre, an X-ray machine, CBC facilities, a 24-hour pharmacy, and an OPD for first aid. Moreover, the PHC also provides 8 beds to men and 14 beds to women.

Set up in the memory of the late Sant Shri Dularam Kularia, this PHC is a wonderful way of remembering his efforts towards the upliftment of the community. In terms of sustainability and protecting the environment, the PHC focuses on reducing its carbon footprint. The 50,000-liter rainwater harvesting tank is reflection to this positive mindset promoted by Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia. This tank is not just the face of sustainability promoted by the Sant Shri Dularam Kularia Primary Healthcare Center (PHC) but is also a reliable source of water supply. Through these moves, Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia have established the PHC to be mindful of not just the people it is set up for, but also the environment and its implications.
