Having done his MBBS in Dr BRAMC, Postgraduation (DNB) in Surgery from VIMS & RC, Bengaluru and later his Post doctoral Fellowship in Diabetic foot, Dr Amit Jain worked as faculty of different ranks up-to professor of surgery for years in medical colleges like St John’s and Raja-Rajeswari medical college earlier and currently is working as a Consultant and Head at Amit Jain’s Institute of Diabetic foot & Wound Care, which is an eponymous wing named after Amit Jain as a mark of respect for his phenomenal record-breaking work in literature in Brindhavvan Areion Hospital in Bengaluru, with focussed aimed and determined efforts of doing the best original work in diabetic foot, a field less chosen and liked by most in view of unfavourable outcomes.
With more than a decade of research work in diabetic foot, Dr Amit Jain is credited to have highest original eponymous work in medical literature and this world record is set in different record books including India’s World Records 2023. The jury members at India’s World Records, after reviewing the published literature and documents found Dr Amit Jain to have 47 original eponymous works in medical literature till February 2023.
